At LO, 25% of our patients are adults. It’s never too late to get your smile straight, and today many adults are taking action to improve smile appearance and health with orthodontic treatment. We understand that you have busy schedules, and we will work with you to make sure each visit is as convenient, efficient, and comfortable as possible. Ask about our clear braces!

Smiles For Kids

Many kids come into our office practically dancing; they are so excited to start braces and snap some sort of fun, get-your-smile-on-selfie! Other kids are nervous about how braces will feel, reluctant to give up their caramel corn, or concerned about brushing & flossing with braces. It is our pleasure to encourage each of these super special kids on their individual journeys to beautiful, healthy smiles!

Invisalign®

Invisalign treatment uses a series of virtually invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners to move and straighten teeth. We usually recommend it for adults or very responsible teens, as it requires a higher level of patient responsibility and cooperation. A consultation with Dr. LeMert can determine if Invisalign clear aligners are right for you and will thoroughly meet your smile goals.

Dr. LeMert has been practicing the art and science of orthodontics in both
of his offices, Roseburg and Coos Bay, since 2007. He and Lura, along with their three grown children: Levi, Sailie, & Remington are thankful to call this beautiful corner of the world home and to actively pursue the opportunities
of knowing God, developing friendships, and enjoying outdoor adventures! Dr. LeMert loves to run the dog, kayak the Umpqua, and scuba dive the Pacific.

Dr. Matt has practiced orthodontics for 17 years and joined the Coos Bay LO Smile Team in 2023. He and his wife Laura have lived in southern Oregon off and on for over 10 years. They love it here and have loved raising their 3 children (Abby, Colby, and Jackon) in the Pacific Northwest. As a family they love to hike, snow ski, and watch a good movie together. If time allows Dr. Matt loves to golf, read, and listen to a good podcast.
